TO POTENTIAL VISITORS TO THE RANCH AT FLAT CREEK CROSSING:

Thank you for your interest in the Ranch. Enclosed is information about the facilities and what is
expected of those who are guests at Flat Creek Crossing Ranch.

PLEASE NOTE: Flat Creek Crossing Ranch primarily caters to groups.
While we may occasionally rent a cabin or room to an individual, the rates may be higher than our group rates.
Rental to individuals is usually done on a stand-by basis only.

Please keep in mind that, although we really do want to encourage the use of the Ranch, that Child Inc.
serves well over two thousand people, has hundreds of staff members and long term commitments with numerous community and civic groups, human service programs and educational
organizations. That means that just the normal everyday demands for use of this facility are high.
So, we ask that you understand clearly that a request for information or for specific dates does not
mean that your organization or group has a reservation to use the facilities.

DO NOT PLAN TO USE THE RANCH FACILITIES WITHOUT HAVING
PRIOR WRITTEN CONFIRMATION THAT YOU HAVE A RESERVATION .

After you are scheduled on the Ranch calendar for a particular date, you will receive a letter
confirming the dates and times of your reservation and which cabins you have been
assigned for sleeping quarters, if you are staying overnight. Because we schedule many
different groups, please remember it is important to arrive no earlier than the scheduled
arrival time and leave no later than the scheduled departure time. Use only the facilities noted on
your reservations - even if others appear vacant or unused.

EVEN AFTER YOUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED, YOU MUST RECONFIRM YOUR
DATES 5 DAYS AHEAD OF YOUR SCHEDULED VISIT
OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RESERVED DATES .

Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, you will be expected to provide your own towels and linens.
Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, your group will be responsible for inspecting the facilities
to see if all plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment is in working order and Child Inc.
cannot guarantee to repair any piece of equipment and have it functioning for the use of your group.
Your group will be expected to show proof of liability insurance which will cover all activities
on the Ranch before we can give written confirmation. Individuals and informal groups must
negotiate the issue of responsibility and liability with Child Inc. before reservations can be made.
