| In addition to sand volleyball and Frisbee golf, fishing or lounging by one of the very private swimming holes, the canyon walls are a Mecca for rock climbers and those who simply like to watch others scale the cliffs and overhangs at the many shelter caves. In addition to that, there is an award-winning 13+ mile trail system for hiking and mountain-biking. It carries users along the edge of the canyon walls, down through the canyon pass through long, unique rock crevices, back up out of the canyon, through a man made tunnel (cave) and up to the highest point of the ranch. There are seven miles of paved road which also offer easy access by car to most points on the ranch, so most of the wonders of the ranch and canyon can be seen without taking the full 13 mile hike or mountain-bike ride. However, for the truly adventurous, the ranch is adjacent to one of Texas’ largest state parks – add the park trails to your hike or ride and you can be exploring the remotest parts of Texas hill country for days (guides and camping equipment can be arranged for). |

| Should you be up to exploring only out and not back, pick-up services can be arranged. Kayaks can be used in the swimming and fishing areas on the ranch. For longer kayak excursions on the Pedernales River (adjacent to the ranch), guides and equipment can be arranged for. Wine Tasting excursions to several nearby vineyards are a little less taxing. Combine that with shopping and antiquing in historic shops in nearby Johnson City and very historic Fredericksburg. A beautiful Golf Course and even more fishing areas are found in nearby Marble Falls. Bass fishing boats and guides can be arranged. Back at the ranch, four-wheel-drive guided tours, hayrides, cowboy campfires and sing-a-longs can also be scheduled. The ranch can accommodate over 700 campers at one time and can accommodate 2000 persons at one time for special outdoor events. |
